Mitchell Kaufman is a yoga therapist, movement educator, and former professor of philosophy.
He’s spent the last 20 years guiding breath, movement, and nervous system training across 30+ countries.
As a clinical yoga therapist, Mitchell blends the wisdom of yoga with modern science — supporting real, embodied change through nervous system regulation.
He developed PVYT (Polyvagal Yoga Training) while working with Olympic level athletes, Veterans with PTSD, and men in substance abuse recovery. He now teaches from a monastery overlooking Lake Atitlán in Guatemala.
